Charity Auction Event:  November 16, 2013

Responsibilities included:

  • Conducted artist lottery of approximately 450 entries
  • Coordinated email notification of selected and unselected artists.
  • Coordinated scheduling and instructions for artist shifts on Artist Day
  • Prepped and primed 18" x 18" boards 
  • Supervised onsite art-making in the warehouse on Artist Day 
  • Organized materials and supplies, liability forms and checkout materials on Artist Day
  • Coordinated 160 artists' artwork donations
  • Curated 160 completed works into 6 art auctions
  • Coordinated labeling and auctioneer slips with the graphic designer
  • Coordinated finance tracking labels with the art checkout coordinator
  • Created and installed easel labels
  • Prepped auctioneers on event night
  • Supervised the live auction

An estimated 2,500 people attended Art Con 9. The artists selected for Art Con 9 generated approximately 38K in art revenue, an increase of 21% over the previous year.
