Responsibilities included:
- Conducted artist lottery of approximately 450 entries
- Coordinated email notification of selected and unselected artists.
- Coordinated scheduling and instructions for artist shifts on Artist Day
- Prepped and primed 18" x 18" boards
- Supervised onsite art-making in the warehouse on Artist Day
- Organized materials and supplies, liability forms and checkout materials on Artist Day
- Coordinated 160 artists' artwork donations
- Curated 160 completed works into 6 art auctions
- Coordinated labeling and auctioneer slips with the graphic designer
- Coordinated finance tracking labels with the art checkout coordinator
- Created and installed easel labels
- Prepped auctioneers on event night
- Supervised the live auction
An estimated 2,500 people attended Art Con 9. The artists selected for Art Con 9 generated approximately 38K in art revenue, an increase of 21% over the previous year.
