Responsibilities included:
- Worked with new database coordinator to create artist database from existing Google Docs
- Conducted artist lottery of approximately 400 entries through new database
- Coordinated email notification of 170 selected artists and remaining unselected artists
- Coordinated scheduling and instructions for artist shifts on Artist Day
- Prepped and priming 18" x 18" boards
- Coordinated logistics and customization of new database for online artist checkin and checkout on Artist Day
- Supervised onsite art-making in the warehouse on Artist Day
- Organized materials and supplies and liability forms on Artist Day
- Coordinated 160 artists' artwork donations
- Curated completed works into art auctions
- Coordinated labeling and auctioneer slips with the graphic designer
- Coordinated finance tracking labels with the art checkout coordinator
- Created and installed easel labels
The artists selected by lottery for Art Con 10 generated approximately 45K in art revenue, an increase of 18% over the previous year and an increase of 43% over Art Con 8.
